This is a Colt Officers in stainless that is a LEO off duty carry piece. He wanted a few features added to make it a little more user friendly and reliable.
New sight, an XS "Big Dot" up front and a wide 10-8 "U" notch in the rear make the sights very easy to pick up. A new EGW grip safety was fit and blended to reduce hammer bite. The Colt hammer was reworked and thined to reduce rubbing in the hammer slot. The front strap was high cut and serrated by Pete Single as well as a magwell bevel.A new short Harrison Design smooth trigger replaced the short steel facory unit. The factory two spring recoil system was replaced with an EGW single flat spring on a .250 FLGR capped by Clark full collar spring plug. The internals were all polished and sear/hammer surfaces stoned. On the exterior all the lines were straightened and the flats sanded smooth. The smooth grips are by Cavery.

Thanks guys. Ran it today with Hardball, Lead Semi Wads and Jacketed Hollow Points. Ran like a champ. I really like the flat spring set up for Officers length guns.

Love the functionality in this build - beaver tail and undercut trigger guard are a couple of very well thought out options.

That came out really nice, one of the best looking Officers I've seen.
