DW Specialist - with VZ double-diamond slim grips in place of the standard VZ "tapered" 1911 "Operator II" grips. The DW magwell that comes on the Specialist is off this gun in the first two pictures, and instead a spare DW MSH (black) has been installed:

Close up of grips and a spare black MSH from a Valor. The Specialist comes standard with a slightly raised magazine release button:

And the Specialist with its magwell slimmed a little and re-installed:

oh mercy! ... If that's wood, somebody found some amazing burling to use. If it's not wood, they did a pretty good job making growth rings the in the G10(?). The coloring is much like some Sarge's grip stocks on my newest "Valor", 20 posts back:

Either way, very nice.

My beloved Silverback fresh back from Briley Manufacturing. Briley fit the Fusion 357 Sig barrel plus Briley Spherical Bushing and Wilson Combat 17lb Flatwire Recoil Spring.

Ran a few mags through her yesterday - performed flawlessly. I look forward to running 10 and 357 back to back for an informed review.

That Briley bushing seems quite the thing. One came OEM in my EDC. That example impressed me enough that I got a couple of loose ones on hand from when a parts supplier had them on special. The .45s that would benefit are mostly serving as .22LRs now. And though my DW .45 has a very nicely fitted conventional bushing, it might be worth the experiment to see if a Briley DIY can keep up with an expertly fitted bushing - the original can go back in either way.

I have the Briley Spherical bushing in my S&W 952 (9mm) and can testify that’s it’s impressive.

Congrats on the great work in developing what I’d believe is a unique firearm. Enjoy!!!
