If you havn't got a copy, recommend you do, good read, with a chapter on the guns that Ranger Joaquin Jackson carried, with his pistol being a Colt Commander.

I saw another recommendation of it in print somewhere recently. Yours, though, is the kind that motivates me more. I'll look for it. Thank you.

Is this something you have to special order, or is it in bookstores? I need a good book since Vinny T is QBing my Jets, so the season is basically over (unless you're the type who likes to gawk at car wrecks).

Pretty good read

The book is worth reading, especially if you're from south Texas and know the places and people referred to. Great remembrance of the Carrizo jail break. Jackson may not be the most famous Ranger in history or the greatest writer, but any Ranger is worth paying attention to. I'm proud to have shaken his hand.
