Although I had a bad experience with my previous .45 cal Gold Match, I absolutely love my Stainless Gold Match SE II .38 Super. I was not going to get another Kimber but just couldn't hold out and ordered a Stainless Gold Match SE II .45 yesterday. Kimber told the dealer that it will be here in approximately 30 days.

Gotta go sell a gun or two at the next gun show to help pay for this one (it wasn't in my budget).

Will post my results with it sometime in December. I JUST HATE WAITING!!!

Yes, the SE was a limited run. Has a ribbed/serrated flattop slide, 30 LPI checkered frontstrap and a few other things. Here's the url to the info:
