im looking to change to a flat mainspring housing on my springer GI45.

also, while doing that, i was going to get a new mainspring as well. the current one in it is 28 lbs, and i want to go to the standard 23lbs, mainly because i have been told this will help lower the trigger pull ( kinda still in the springer with a 28lb mainspring)

i was told i could go as low as 19, but its my carry gun and im not wanting to change from the standard 16lb recoil spring.

also, since springfields use the heavy duty firing pin spring and titanium firing pin, going to 23 or 19 wont affect that in any way will it? ( as far as light strikes)

im also going to go ahead and get an aluminum trigger, but i know the one i want.. lol..

thanks in advance, now i just have to find a place to order the parts so i can get them in without a big wait.

in my 9x19, 40 S&W, and 45 ACP Springfields

I use 19lb mainsprings in swapped-out MSHs.
