I'm wondering what you folks think of the very nice looking CZ chambered for .45 ACP, the CZ97B. I have fired a CZ75 and I liked it, but right now I'm interested in another .45 not another 9mm. The CZ75 has gained a reputation for being an accurate, reliable and affordable weapon. Does that reputation apply to the CZ97B too?

Short answer is yes the CZ97B is everything the CZ75B is, just bigger. I really like mine although the double action trigger reach is a stretch for my smallish hands. The CZ97 is accurate and built like a truck.I have one of the early ones, and it has never never never failed to function flawlessly.

The CZ Forum has a room dedicated to the CZ97 where you can read postings from 97B owners.

I was very impressed with the trigger on the one that I tried out. Much better than I expected. Fit and finish was good and price was very reasonable. For a .45 that isn't a 1911, it was very nice.
