Have a new P-14 Limited and love it, fits my hand better then the single stack and puts the thumb in prefect position to hit mag release without shifting grip.Other then throwing brass everywhere love the weapon and wonder about improvements. Most gunsmith packages include things already on the Limited so was wondering, anyone have any experence with the following in a Para:
Harrt Recoil Reducer
Hardened Rail System between slide and frame
Cryo Treating frame and slide for toughness
Briley Spherical Bushing
Thanks for any and all help, as a newbie I need all the help I can get

saikatana,
If you want a tighter fitting barrel bushing go with a lathe turned National Match barrel bushing.
If you want to add a little weight to the gun try a tungsten guide rod.
A bull or cone barrel works good but its illegal for IDPA, you also might want to check the rules about the Tungsten guide rod.
Do some tuning on the extractor this should cure the brass throwing problem.
Forget the cryo treating and hardened rail system you don't need it.
Buy some ammo and shoot the heck out of the gun, then you will really start to enjoy it.

Both my ParaOrdnance P-14 and my Colt Series 70 Government Model have the Briley Spherical Bushing installed on them. Neither have experienced any problems and both have more than 25,000 rounds (over 35,000 through the Para) since being installed.
