I have a p14 that does not seem to have much in the way of a dovetail on it.Is there any way to put one on it. Forgive me I am new to the boards and new to 1911's. I'm still learning much about these guns , this board seems to have a lot of knowledge available to those of us learning. Thanks in advance

If you are talking about the front sight dovetail the answer is yes. I change the existing dovetail by milling a 330x65 front sight dove tail. This is what I have on my limited gun and I hope to have a picture of it on the web site before long.
