with the limited amby fit in my stock p-12 w/o modification or with minor modification i can do myself?

Yes it'll work. Takes some fitting. This is done by removing material from one of the raised corners that run the length of the pin till thye safety flips up & down smoothly with reasonable thumb pressure. Your old safety should show evidence of the same filing to point you to the area that needs work. This does not require much material to be removed. Look carefully at how it moves up & down. Occasionally an outside corner needs material removed because it hits the corner of the notch in the slide.

Pirate -- I forgot to mention that you may need to remove some material from the frame side of the top rear right hand corner of your grips. Need to make some room for the long finger on the righthand ambi piece to move up & down without rubbing on the grip.

Thanks for your help.I'm currently using Hogue rubber grips so I suppose I can just trim them a little.
