I just got a slightly used Colt 1991 in 9mm. It has a 2 or 3 scratches that I would like to at least protect from rust and hopefully remove completely. Does anyone know of a product that would hide/coverup these scratches. Other then the scratches the gun is beautiful.

Careful application of a strong cold blue, like Birchwood Casey's Super Blue using a Q-Tip should cover it up just fine. Just don't overdo it or you might affect the existing finish.

One other thing to add to what DSK said. Before you put on the Super Blue, put on a light coat of oil on the scratches. The Super Blue will still work, but much slower. Re-do it until you get the right match.

Sam
P.S. enjoy your 91!
