Ruger Mini in 6.8SPC and a standard M1A with Black Fiberglass...can't wait for nicer weather to shoot the latter...winds gusting 50 lately with temps down to single digits..ugh.

I'd be interested in hearing what accuracy you get out of the Mini.
Denis
The Mini has proven to be a lot more shootable than the three previous -14s I have had in .223. At 50 yards standing up I can hit a small 3" steel plate 9 out of 10 times. Not really all that conclusive, but for my purpose of wanting a stainless hog gun with a bit of punch it is ideal. Again this is standing and with open sights, a scope and rested would really prove whether or not it's the rifle or if I have become a better shot.

Ug,
Sorry, that tells me nothing. :)
Was hoping for serious benched 100-yard groups.
Good luck with it.

I was hoping, because the sample in 6.8 that I tried was very underimpressive. Very interested in hearing how other samples do, accuracy-wise.

Was it in a Mini? I have heard what you are talking about in AR type rifles is why I am asking.

I bet if I benched this rifle I'd probably be disappointed haha.
