I have two Sparks, one being a single (S-4C) and a double (D-4C) pouches and think they are great. I have yet to dislodge one on a door or other obstacle, althoug I try to avoid running into door jambs. www.miltsparks.com
A friend has their #17 mag pouch that rides outside the belt like the S-4C and D-4C pouches, but is a little cheaper. My frien likes his a lot. None of these three mag pouches have any problem with mag retention.
What you really might like is one that that rides between the belt and pants or inside the pants. Marks has an inside the belt single mag pouch that should work fine and keep from getting dislodged. It is their IPS mag pouch, complet with sweat guard.
