I know its a long shot, but does anyone know of any pistol competitions in Charlotte, NC. My Dad asked me, and I hadn't heard of any. I live 3 hours away so I cannot just go ask at the gun stores like I would usually. He is looking for IDPA, IPSC, or something like that. He just wants to shoot his 1911.

at IDPA.com there is link "Club Information"

I don't know of anything in Charlotte, but there are matches in Statesville, and Salisbury. Also Columbia, SC.

Thanks Tim -- hmmm, 2nd Saturday? That clashes with Range14, but it's nice that there's another option, if I'm out that way....
