New iMac and Sony Cyber Shot

Uberti 1860 Army converted to .45 Schofield fun to shoot. BTW, did the Army switch over to .45 Schofield over Colt due to lower recoil?

From what I remember, the Army found itself forced to buy several thousand of the Schofield model S&W, which had shorter chambers & thus used the shorter cartridge, and then the Army adopted the S&W round as standard because it also fit in the longer chambers of the 1873 Colt. Made the logisitics a little easier.

That's basically what I've heard. But it seems the lighter load of the Schofield made for better accuracy of cavalrymen on horseback as well. I'm using a a BP substitute made by American Pioneer of 25 grains and it's a comfortable load.

Congrates on the iMac..I love mine..Few issues so far..If you are not a iMac user to begin with the $100 one on one service is absolutely the best $100 spent.

The 1860 convert looks to be a fun piece to go and play cowboy with...who says Walter Mitty isn't alive. LOL

Be safe:cool:
