I know there a lot of pre-bans in 38 super. I've heard that there really is not that many 40 cal pre-bans around.

But how about the 45 hi-cap pre-bans, was there a lot made before the ban? Are there more 40 cals than the 45's or vice versa?

I never see any SVI hi cap mags for sale. Normally, they are bought by friends or fellow shooters anytime something comes up for sale.

You see them everynow and then on the USPSA classified site. There are two STI 45ACP mags on gunbroker.com now up for auction.

There is an entirely adequate supply of spare parts for STI 40 mags at reasonable prices... wink,wink. Tubes, followers, base pads, retainers, springs, etc.
