What is the average price for a SS Custom classic in your area.
I was browsing at on of the local shops yesterday. NIB SS Custom Classic == $775.

This same shop was only $300 too high for me to buy my SS Gold Match two years ago.
I paid $1100 this guy said $1400 firm. He also said there was a 3 month wait on them. I called my supplier and had it in hand in less than a week.

Classic Stainless for $675 at the shop yesterday, but I got it for trade of my Pro-Carry plus $100.

I have been shopping around for a Custom Stainless and they are going for $719-$769 here in Washington. No one has them in stock here though. I saw some Custom Classics for $649 though, but I am holding out for the stainless.

I live in the most expensive are in the world to buy handguns. Custom SS runs $820
here in good ole South Carolina

So Bruce,is there a logical reason (or un-logical) why guns are so high where you're at? If you could find an FFL to do a transfer for you it might pay to shop out of state. Probably not telling you anything new.

In Indy the stainless ones are going for $679.00 to $719.00 depending on who selling them.

I think California is most expensive. Custom Stainless II is over 830.00 at most places. All firearms are more costly here than in most states.
