I carry a Tactical Pro II. I also own a Glock 27 and have had other glocks to include a 30. 1) Certainly, beauty is in the eye of the beholder; but, the classic lines of the 1911 are hard to beat. 2) the 1911 design is slimmer and easier to carry. 3) The trigger pull is IMO vastly superior to the spongy feel of a glock. 4) And for some reason I hit better with a 1911. Probably the ideal grip angle which it makes it a natural pointer. If you go with the Tac Pro, remember it has an aluminum frame and it's best to use magazine with non-metal followers like the Wilson combat series. Stay safe.
