All the new Baers, TM I have ever picked up if slide is not slammed shut "which should not be anyways without a "Snapcap" or "chambered round" but shut slowly generally will stop short of battery. Normal due to tolerances. I hand people the Baer "THUNDER RANCH" for fun everyday after picking up other 1911a1's and ask them to pull the slide back. Honestly 75% of them say what the heck is wrong with it or ask if they are doing something wrong. My TM if released by hand will stop short of lockup NP. So at a X POA she hitting 5" low?
Obviously with it having a Novak elevation adj. not a option so if not happy here is .. WHAT YOU DO...
Call SA talk to Lisa or whoever, explain POA is not to your satisfaction, Tell them you would like a "Red Label Favor" through UPS. She will then give you their acct# with UPS. Also a RMA# "for recording incoming returns". Also request a test target at 25yrds showing POA. Leave in case take out all accessories but leave in 1 mag. Box it take to UPS tell them you have a "RED LABEL FAVOR" ps: take SA acct # with you you will need it when UPS hands you the "Next Day Air" form. Be sure to enclose letter what you want and problem just like you did when you called. Write RMA# on outside of box. Ship and wait to be pleased. Turnaround little slow right now looking around 5-6 weeks. Good Luck!

Advice deal with them all the time and others. You must be precise and TO THE POINT IN TELLING THEM WHAT "YOU" WANT and EXPECT.
