I know the gun is designed around the 230gr. Remington Golden Saber. But does anyone use anything else? I've always been very pleased with the 230 gr. Federal Hydra Shok, and it has proven to be more accurate in my other weapons. Any suggestions from all the Pro owners out there? The Golden Saber's does not provide the most consistent accuracy out there. I have not had a chance to try any other ammo yet. Suggestions welcome.

Thanks,
TD

i am very familiar with the test parameters ect.(thinking about buying one)

its hard to say, theoreticaly better ammo should work better right? (230gr.) anyway,

if it would fire 30 consec. rds. with goldensaber 1'1/2" im sure it could send some black hills even better?

I've not had any problems with either GS, HS (old style or new style), or the Winchester RA45T round....Rem Ball is fine and Federal Match is even better. I'm pushing the 20k mark out of two different Pros.

I've shot mostly RA45T through mine (approx 2000-2500 rds) and I've also shot about 800 rds of 230gr Hydra-Shok. All this with absolute 100% reliability. No failures at all.
