Does anyone know whether you can get a Python owner's manual from Colt? I recently picked up a like-new 6" blued 1981 Python with box and papers, except for the owner's manual. I'm not necessarily looking for one of an early-80s vintage, as I suspect that the manuals of more recent vintage would be of the same utility. I'll call Colt this week to check, but thought I'd ask here first. I looked on their web site for an on-line manual, but no luck. I was kind of surprised, since Ruger, Browning, and others have on-line manuals for current and discontinued models.

Failing that, is there a source for older manuals that you folks know of? I've checked gunsamerica and gunbroker, but haven't found anything yet. Any ideas? Thanks.

I think Colt will have them, the Python is still current. I received a Delta Elite and a Pocketnine manual from them a year or so ago when both had long been out of production.
