Have a RIA midsize...eventually I'm gonna need a recoil spring. Can I get a factory replacement spring from Pahrump? Or does one of the aftermarket manufacturers make one that will work without problems...I've seen posts on this subject some time ago and don't remember the answer. Seems I recall a problem using commander size springs. HELP!

Use a 22# Wolf recoil spring!!!

You want the one for Kimber Pro (4") The Commander is 4.25" and the Wilson Commander spring I used to replace my Armscor made Charles Daly EMS recoil spring was a couple of turns too long to let the slide go all the way back. I cut off a few turns so the coils weren't touching when the slide was full back. Has worked fine. I changed it after about 7000 rounds, original spring was still working fine but the ejection had gotten so violent I was losing most of my brass.
