are there any good reliable 10 round single stack 9m/m magazines for the 1911 platform?
A friend is building up a 9m/m pistol on for 9 Pin events for a mutual friend. The smith keeps telling the person having the pistol built that .38S magazines will not work and to date they have not.
Any thoughts? Suggestions? Hints? (Besides built the pistol on the BHP platform)
Brownell's has been looked at. Loading to .38 Super length may be an option but that begs the question, are there any "extra" capacity .38 Super mags out there? I don't have anything in .38 Super and my shooting 9 m/m is a BHP so I don't keep up with single stack mags in those calibers.
wilson 10rd .38super mags have a recommended oal of 1.240 to 1.260. having said that, i know people who run really light bullets 100gr with oal's under 1.240 reliably.
