Hi, guys, maybe you can help me on this.

I have a couple of the post ban 10 round factory mags. These mags have a plastic base (the bottom inch or so of the mag body) with a small spring hanging out. This spring gives the mag a positive eject.

I want to get a few more of these springs. I called Brownell's, they don't have them. I then called Browning, and was told "Since the Hi Power was no longer available, we don't and won't have any more of these springs."

Two questions:

1. Is the Hi Power no longer available/imported?

2. The big question: Where can I get some of these springs?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Wait a minute.

I called Browning 2 months ago, and they said the next shippment of HP's was scheduled for October of 2001.

FN said pretty much the same thing.

Do you know something that I don't?

I'm not sure. I thought the Hi Power was still currently being manufactured. This is a surprise to me.

I called Browning two weeks ago and they said they are going to start to sell them again. They have even already qualified the HP for Calf. And will appear on the list in about a month.
You know their going through with sell them again if they put up the money for the testing.
