Shoot an unfired Clackamas? No way! If you really wish to fire a Clack, then sell the unfired Clack, buy a used Clack, and shoot that one. Make a few extra bucks for the wallet too.

Sure, if you have the desire, why not? Not shooting is like saving a virgin for the next guy.
However, those first shots will cost you $$$$. You could always sell the unfired, but a "shooter" Clackamas and pocket the difference.

I don't think I'd shoot an unfired anything, if it was no longer in production.
I have no interest in "collectable" Kimbers, but as long as someone is, those people should have them.
