I picked up a Classic Target II yesterday and am wanting to change a few things on it. What I want to ask is.. Can I change say all the things on a kimber that I could on say a colt or springfield? Mainly just wanting to change the sights, trigger, hammer, and grip safety.

Thanks

yes...they are all 1911's, you use the same parts as for any 1911, assuming the sights fit the cuts (or get the slide milled) and the grip safety matches the origional, or there is enough materiel to shape it to fit...but you can change all the same parts...

Do Ultra Carry II's apply to this equation? Can you swap full size parts, etc.?

Unless I'm grossly mistaken... the commander doesn't use a shorter MSH?
