First, are there extended magazines 10+ rounds that will fit in the V12?
Second, what shooting competitions allow 1911s with ported barrels or simply, what competitions would allow a stock V12? I'm from Illinois, so if you know of a shooting club there that would allow this type of gun, please let me know.

Wilson, Metalform, Brown, and McCormick all make 10-shot .45 magazines for the 1911 platform, no doubt including your V12.
It would fall into Open or Modified Division in IPSC. Go to USPSA.Com and use the Club Finder.
It would not be allowed as is in IDPA, but you might could get a spare unported barrel for that, at least at club matches. Check at IDPA.com for club locations and contact them for official policy.
There are probably other competitions that it could be shot in, like steel or bowling pin matches or local outfits that have their own categories.
