Wow...what a hoot? The gun is really nice. Seems very tight, well made and the grips are really nice. Found the gun to be extremely accurate and the 10mm is a ton of fun from a 1911. My only experience previously was from a Glock.

If you guys ever get a chance to shoot one, don’t pass it up.

Yes I do!!!!!!

So here goes since you were listening closely and fake to call BS on me.

I had a Sig 1911 Super Target on order. However, I received a call my Sig and the gun has been discontinued for now and is no longer in production. Was told that they could start making it again....but wanted me to know that I could be waiting 6 months to forever. So I changed my order to a 1911 Max in 9mm which is thus ALSO not in production and Sig has no inventory.

To make a long story short, they said they could send me a the Tacops and would ship the next day. Sk...there ya have it.

It will be my only 1911 for the time being.

Your experience mimics mine! Love the TacOps in 10mm although I had to send it back to Sig for some work. Accurate, well put together weapon!

I see people running .40s through 10mm guns with no changes and then run.

Does that make sense?

Always seen good owner reports on those TACOPS guns. I had the P226 version that was very solid. I just gave up on DA/SA and sold it to buy another 1911.

It would be fun to fit a .40 S&W barrel to it.
There is plenty factory 10mm loads that are no more than 40short&whimpy.

I never understood why the FBI neutered the 10mm.....until recent times.....when a certain Robert Mueller was on the news every day. Pencil necked soft types like him probably flinched qualifying with a .22lr. :biglaugh:

Puts a pile of stress on the extractor when shooting the .40s&w in a 10mm barrel.

I tried it in a G20 and it worked okay.

I won’t be doing so in my 10mm 1911’s.

I no longer have any 40s&w ammo like I did back when I owned the G20 years ago.
