I am looking at having some work done...trigger & hammer, beavertail, thumb safety and accurizing. Who in Southern California can do this work not only well but at a fair price?

I just picked up my 1991a1 from Kings in Glendale yesterday. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet but they did a fine job. Had the trigger replaced and tuned and had a match bushing installed.

Rotney, what was turn-around time for your gun?

I've had good experiences with both Kings Gunworks and Jim Hoag. Either one can do the job you need.

I was told it would be about 3 weeks but he said to give a call in a couple weeks. I was coming home yesterday and kings was along the way so I stopped by. I had a couple other questions about my vaquero so when as an aside I asked how my colt was doing I was surprised when he came back and said it was ready. Only been about 12 days!

I prefer Santa Anita, though when I'm lazy I go to La Puente. LAX is nice but too far. If I'm shooting long guns I prefer the Angeles ranges. I'm hoping to try Raahauges sometime. I'm planning on going to their shooting fair this weekend. If you'd like info on that send me an email.
