Have you any advice or warnings related to replacing the original sear and hammer assymblies with Chip McCormmick or Brownell's parts. This is on a Colt series 70 that I purchased new. If I make these changes, I likely will also replace other parts as well[trigger,new springs et at] the pistol is in excellent condition as is, I just want to make some improvments.Thanks for your comments.

I put a McCormick hammer/sear set in a Norinco, and it amounted to a $30 trigger job. I prefer premium parts, but bang-for-the-buck, the cheaper parts are a good value.
