RIA BBR 3.10 9mm

The RIA BBR 3.10 in 9mm has been available for purchase since before Shot Show, yet no one has reviewed the gun (on Youtube, at least).

I'm curious about it. Mag capacity is 10 rounds, though...same as the 45ACP variant, which is odd.

Just ordered one, waiting for shipment info.
I also ordered several sets of mag extenders from [email protected]
Waiting to hear back from egw about the guide rod conversion, it shows 45acp on the website, but need to know if that will work on a 9mm.
AND, I am going to order custom grips from browne this weekend.
Sold my new 9mm Tisas Commander with some mods, and am using the $ for the bbr. About a 100 short, and getting upgrades at about another 130.00.
Not as budget friendly build as I thought, lol.

This is like the 3rd. or 4th. Thread on this coming out. But the first thread of ordering one.
post up a follow up when you get it & take it to the range.
Check out my thread on magazine & finger rests for the BBR3.10 and see if they will work on your 9mm version.

After having the BBR in 9MM for a week, I found that a 17 rd Mec-Gar mag (double stack for RIA) will fit fine. ODK says his sleeve for the P14 Mag in 45, will fit, so I ordered two 17 rounders and two sleeves. Hopefully will have them by the 23-24th. Will take pics when I get them.
The ODK floorplates for the 45 10 rd mag will fit the 9mm 10 rounder, too. I had to smooth them out some as they had some sharp edges, but 5 minutes with file and 800 grit brought them around. I have two each textured and plain floor plates, just need one more 10 rd (only have three).
I also ordered a set of grips for the bbr from Browneworks, in textured Padauk, should have by the 23rd.
I am getting a tanker soon, as I have a drawer full of parts if I want to upgrade. Get one while they are inexpensive, they ARE going up with next production run. We'll see.

How does it shoot? Is it snappy like the 45ACP version? Is it difficult to control while shooting, and is it difficult to maintain a good grip?

Shoots very nice. I can control the recoil without any extensions, but the floor plates are very nice, too. Gun is heavy for a 9mm.
I got the 17 rd mags today, but waiting on sleeves for them from One Dark Knight. They do fit perfectly in the bbr 3.10 9mm, though. 17 rd mags ODK said he had to releave the 14 rd sleeve by 1 mm to allow the 17rd to seat properly, but no mod to the magazine.
Also got my grips from Browneworks in Orange Padauk. Textured like the BBR grips. When I can get my bank account back up, I am going to get the Sea Snake grips. Hate to spend another 145 on them, but very unique.
Next is the EGW BBR 3.10 (45acp) recoil kit and the spring (16#) EGW says they will work fine with the 9mm version, and won't have to change recoil springs for a long long time with it.
Will take pics when I get the sleeves for the 17 rounders. I have 2 of them. Same size as the Para 14 rd in 45!
