Quick question to anyone with some insight,


My RIA is stamped M1911 A2 FS - Tact 2011... looking at the RIA website there's only the Pro Ultra and the TAC ultra with the same look.

I am wondering where mine falls under ? It has the rear site of a Pro ultra but the stamp doesn't say Match...

mine was bought 2018 or earlier. Would anyone be able to clarify ?

It's TAC ULTRA FS HC [51679]

I doubt "Tact 2011" is stamped there.. if it is.. that could be done later. Anyway.. it is not 2011, it is still 1911 but in double stack... which is not 2011 :)

I hear you... but here it is... I'm thinkin they put this out then did an about face specially when STI patented the term 2011.
Either way, it makes me feel like I have a unicorn batch with the serial nos. starting at 165.

Interesting... I know manufactures can name products as they want... but they shouldn't use "2011" as the 2011 idea was competently different. Anyway, good for you for this unique model. (y)

You noticed also the rear sight is similar to what they offer in the pro ultra now on their web site as opposed to the Tact Ultra... it just threw me off a bit...

Yeap. Yo are right ... and actually I start thinking if your model is not a Pro Ultra Match HC [56645].
However Pro Ultra should have a MATCH word stamped after 1911A2FS...

I'm guessing RIA might changed something within those models...
