Evenin'all. Finally got to the range this past sunday and was ale to put a couple of hundred rounds thru this little pistol. For the trip I used PMC, Winchester White Box, Fiocchi, FMJ to break her in a little and then 2 different JHP rounds. Fiocchi with the Hornaday XTHP 230 grain and Remington Golden Sabre, again 230 grain. I used a combination of 4 brands of mags starting with the single Act-Mag that came with the pistol, a Chip McCormick Shooting Star, a Novak and 1 Taurus mag that came with the PT1911. I wasnt expecting much from the Act mag based on several reviews that state that these mags fail to feed JHP's reliably. I used 1 each of the mags and fed each brand through the pistol and proceeded to fire away. The first 4 mags all fed and ejected without a problem. This pic is those first 4 mags for a total of 32 rounds.

With the first feeding without a hitch I then proceeded to fully onload with the remaining 218 rounds. I only had 1 FTF out of those rounds and it was with the Act mag. All others performed flawlessly. Heres the result of those rounds. The target is the same as above just with a few more holes . My targets I print myself on 65lb, 8 1/2 X 11 cardstock. Just hold a piece of paper up to your chest and you get the idea.

I then did the same test with the JHP's and the results were the same as with the FMJ's. A couple of hangups that were helped with a strong rack and all fed and ejected without a hitch. Needless to say I was very happy with the performance of my Rock Island Tactical. And all for around $500. So happy in fact, I ordered another one today
