For me, I will stick with buying my next RRA off the shelf, like I did with my LM.

Dealers like Adco and Allan Yoast usually stock a nice selection of them, so there is no real need for me to place a special order.

I am not sure I would have the patience to place an order on a custom 1911 and then wait for an eternity (which, I understand to be the case with most custom 1911 builders).

I am scheduled to receive my LM frame back from RRA tomorrow.

I actually feel like I am getting a new 1911, so I am excited.

They have had it for re-bluing for quite a while.

Next time, I will send it to someone else.

I do not begrudge RRA at this point for taking so long, but their expertise is obviously in pistol-building, so I will look forward to buying more of their 1911s as my funds and their availability permit.

I just got my LM frame back from RRA, and they threw in a RRA logo cap.

They charge $20 to reblue the frame.

I plan to run a lot of ammo through it this weekend.

Can't wait for that next batch of RRA 1911s to hit the shelves.
