RRA Photo Thread?

I've noticed that most manufacturer sections have a photo thread for their respective brands. Would some of you RRA owners post pictures of your pistols? I'm sure a lot of people would enjoy looking at them.

Here's mine after sending it off to be hardchromed by Metaloy. Also had the slide stop flush cut and the barrel flush crowned, as well as a new front night sight to replace the factory black one.

I got these 2 back in 2006. Unfortunatley, I lost my job in 2009. I had to sell the tactical. I wish I did not. :bawling: I only have the elite now for my EDC.

Here are my RRA 1911's:

1) RRA Hard Chrome Limited Match

2) RRA 2-tone Black-T Basic Limited Match

3) RRA NM Hardball

IMO RRA 1911's are beyond reproach for factory/custom 1911's...

Cheers

I thought I'd posted my RRA, but it must be another thread. So for the reference archives:

This is what it looked like when I bought it used. According to RRA it was born on Nov. 20, 2002.

Original Test Target. Shot by C. Larson.

The gun had holster wear around the muzzle. I sent it off to Yost-Bonitz (now Heirloom Precision) had a french border cut and the gun re-blued.
The after:

RRA still has a handfull of tacticals for sale.

RRA hasn't built their 1911's for years. Where did you hear they still have Tactical models sale?
Actually they did have a bunch of railed models left over and so i would not be surprised if they did still have some sitting around. Popular they weren't.

Worth a call anyhow, and if they are out they do show up on GB from time to time.
Fortunately, I already have a Tact Rail RR, in Black-T. I just found it strange that, I have never heard of anyone purchasing one, from RRA, after they had stopped making 1911's. Nevertheless, that they may still have a supply so many years later.

Well, as I often say, never say never.
They had quite a few left overs for a good while after production stopped of various models. I bought a 9MM and 45 match from them in 2010/2011 or somewhere around there and I know of another guy who scored a carry model well after the fact also.
