Does anyone know the velocity of a S&B 45 ACP round being shot out of a full size 1911 (Kimber).

Just want to make sure that I will be making major.

Shawn, I chrono'd some S & B 230gr FMJ today at the range. Average velocity from my 5" 1991A1 was 813 feet per second. High was 838 fps and low was 797 fps.

Cheaperthandirt.com has a link to S&B's web site. At the site, you'll find all the numbers. Sam
