Does SA offer a commander length Mil-pec or plain (unloaded)1911?
I thought I saw one at a dealers but it is now gone.
SA's website shows a 3.5" compact but that's not what I'm looking for.
I want a plain jane commander length (blue or park)

Springfield catalog shows no 4.25" (Commander) barrelled pistols. Of course this same website also doesn't show the WW2 model pistol sitting on my desk right now.

Check out the Champion model, it is a commander sized pistol but with a 4 in barrell.

I think what you are looking for is the Champion model, However to my knowledge it does not come in the milspec version. The Champion is normally a little more expesive also.....I have a Champion in Parkerized finish, however it came with night sights and they run around 500-600 dollars....
