The guide-rod on my SA Micro Compact disappeared at the range. I don't know if it just unscrewed, or busted off or what. I couldn't disassemble it.

So I shipped it off the SA. Got it back on Wednesday night, after about a month. I've been shooting my Hi-Power 9mm & SA Mil-Spec .38 Super while it was gone.

Took it to the range today. It "seemed" like it was shooting about 6" low at maybe 7yds (I didn't measure the distance).

After about 30rds it was shooting much better. Finally started hitting the "bulls eye", and some misc garbage laying around.

I'm not sure if it took some shooting for the gun to settle-in, or for me to settle in.
