Any one here use a safariland 560 holster for their 1911, I am thinking of getting one to replace my bladetech.

I used one a few years back for IDPA. Nice, sturdy holster. Good for matches, range use and casual concealed carry i.e. with big thick coat or vest. A little on the heavy side and bulky. With lots of use and take off/put on, the paddle will break near where it's attached to the holster body. The belt plate version is better in my opinion (model 561).

I've got a number of these. I've tried a lot of holsters but the paddle 560 is the one I seem to go back to all the time. I use 'em for carry, IDPA and even USPSA. Funny thing is, it's the first holster I ever own; bought it used.
