I can't even see why this is a question to so many people. I have never heard of anybody pretending that a lever action, tube magazine rifle is anywhere near the same class as a magazine fed, semi-auto rifle.
So why is it that people put a pump shotgun in the same class as the Saiga-12?
(Answer? - tradition,... and the fact that there is only the Saiga-12 in it's class. They can't argue "reliability" because, well, how do you argue reliability with a Kalashnikov?)
