I have a leather holster for my Kimber CDP. It is made by Jim Burke and works perfectly. Actually, it is the best holster I have ever owned. I was planning to use the same holster for my Baer Concept VII. I seem to remember reading somewhere that Kimber's are slightly thinner than other 1911's. Can anyone shed some light on this? Also, if that is true if I use the holster for the Baer, will it become too loose for the Kimber? Thanks

Valkyrie Rider,
I believe that every gun deserves it's own leather. That is a very subjective opinion though. If you have found something you like why not buy 2 of them. Holster makers are adding new holsters and dropping old lines all the time. This way you would at least have a backup.
