Bronco is correct. Depending on your monitor resolution, if a pic that might look great on a monitor with 1024x768 resolution will look huge on 800x600 resolution.

Mine's 1600x1280

1600x1280 is usually found on a 19" or bigger monitor, though I have seen it on smaller monitor's. If you do manage to run 1600x1280 on a 17" screen, then you should be able to see you 45 bullet holes at 25 yards

Screen resolution is a function of both Graphic's memory, and Monitor size.

I use 1600x1280 at both Home, and Work, but then I use 21 monitors, and I like having LOTS of "Real Estate".

I really don't know much about computers, just use them for work and school. BUT when I worked at the local Police department we were using a CAD system that was written in DOS. With a 19" screen and the program in full screen mode, you could read calls in progress from the back (40 ft away) of the building.
Note to self: price new monitor.
