Well that is in the hand of the beholder (literally). This pistol isn't for everyone, and you'll know whether or not if it is for you as soon as you pick it up. This pistol's frame is .25 of an inch shorter than that of a Wilson compact, and has a 3.6" barrel. It is not a pistol you are going to want to put 200rds. through during a day at the range. However, it does make a great little concealable .45 that can pack a big punch. I also believe that they recommend that the recoil spring be replaced every 500rds. with this pistol (call Wilson to verify).

Sentinel

I like my Sentinel, its in black and gray, not something for the day at the range, but accurate and nice.
