I am so fired up! I just found a lightly used compact stainless series 1. I don't care if I got a good deal or not because this is the only gun (to my knowledge) that fit ALL of my criteria for a carry gun. Series 70 internals, stainless, 4-4.5" non-ramped barrel, on an officers sized frame. Got it for $750 plus tax. It's on layaway now and I will pay it off immediately after the holidays. :rock:

I have narrowed my hand guns down to three one being a Kobra Carry and a Series I Stainless Kimber Compact - the little kimber shoots just as well as the Kobra and also never has given me any problems - and it cost me $500 and lets just say the Kobra cost a FEW $$$ more - LOL... you will love the little kimber

The above "baby bobtail" was done by http://www.precision-gunworks.com/About.aspx That is who I will be sending my frame to for the needed work... He is as close as my Front door (open you own UPS account) all you need is a Visa and a computer...
