If you like the caliber, they're good deals. I've seen cheaper, but no more will be made. Kimber apparently did a big run on .40's just before switching to Series-II, and they just didn't sell. They've been on Kimber's "clearance sale" list for some time. I've often thought about picking one up for a 10mm conversion.

Have you ever checked to see if the 10MM rounds will feed through the magazines? I did this with a P/O P-16-40, and it worked pretty well. I wouldn't mind having another series one. Would this work for a .38 Super conversion?
