I'm trying to find a plain black stake on Patridge style front sight for a recent Series 70 reproduction pistol, with the idea of having my gunsmith install a gold bead. Alternatively, if anyone makes such a sight with the gold bead in it, that's a big plus. I do not want to have the slide dovetailed.

Does anyone know of such a sight? I've spent many hours searching, and have found narrow tenon sights, but no wide tenon as I assume would be correct for this later production pistol.

I don't think I've ever seen a gold bead sight for the 1911 series pistols.

Brownell's sell a standard wide tenon sight, and a good gunsmith could convert it to a gold or brass bead.

Another possibly even easier option would be a Fusion stake on "fire" fiber optic sight.
Just remove the fiber optic insert and install a piece of brass rod.
