I have a friend that is willing to sell me his Series 70 Colt blue steel pistol for $500. It has 100 rounds through it, some lite holster wear on the front of the pistol, and ivory/gold grips. There has been no upgrades done to it. My friend had it for over 20 years (he is a retired cop) and does not want it anymore (wants a new Glock). I have yet to see it, but knowing him it is in very good condition. Should I go for it? Need advise.:scratch:

Thanks for your responses. I will get the weapon as soon as I get paid. I thought it was a good deal. I was doing some research and the going price for a typical series 70 Colt was about mid $700s. Thanks agains. :rock:
