I've searched this forum and brownells and I can't seem to find anyone who makes a "kit" of spacer and slide plug that will allow proper conversion of a Series 80 to one that has no firing pin block.

Does one exist or is this just too much of a liability issue?

It's sad to say, but in this day and age I can't see "the lawyers" allowing a company to produce and market and aftermarket kit that intentionally disables a factory safety. I know Brownells used to carry them, but haven't checked lately. Maybe you can find one floating around on the internet.

Brownells has the frame component:

The slide does not need any extra parts; just remove the plunger and spring.
