Yeah? ... so what's the problem?
What's "ridiculous" is not the fact that this gentleman wears an earring, but that you would allow something like that to overshadow his professionalism.
Earrings aren't "ridiculous" ... this thread is.
But thats the point.... His wearing an earing has obviously created a distraction to his profesionalsm..... Its a detriment....because now I will be looking for an earing.... just to see if its there.....
I'm pretty sure it wasnt one of the ear mic's.... it was a gold hoop through the cartalige at the top of his left ear.... those mic's are usualy flesh colored or clear.....
So he wears an earing.... I realy dont care... if he bats for the other team... I realy dont care (Please, lets not get into that one today). Its just a thought about how unprofesional atire/ behavior can detract from one's credability....
If you had a store.... dosent matter what you sold.... would you allow one of your people who ran the counter to have tattoo's on their necks? If you were running an upscale biz... probably not.... If you were running a Skate shop... Tatoo parlor... probably would, because it fitts with the clientel and the merchandise..... Its all about fittig the image to the clientell....
I would bet that 90+% of people who watch that show are
1) Male
2) Middle class or higher
3) consider themselves "respectable"
Having an EarRing just dosent fit wth the demographics....
Just a thought......
