10 people have been killed in a Lunar New Year shooting near LA : NPR
Watching "Face the Nation" this morning and they lead off the program with this story. The reporter was more interested on informing viewers, "We don't know what type of a weapon was used". Like that mattered to the victims. He then went on to say the shooter wasn't in custody and they didn't know how they had acquired the weapon. He explained they needed to know where he got the weapon so they could determine if this was a "Hate Crime".
He informed the viewers that it was "unlikely" this was a deranged individual, "because they usually commit suicide after the shooting". Thank you, Mr. Expert. Today's major media can't just report the news without adding their own opinions and agendas.

Shooter was not white and an "assault rifle" was not used. This story will be buried by the Dems by the morning since it doesnt fit their agenda any longer.

Every time I hear or read about these types of incidents my first thoughts are about the victims. What have any of these victims done other than be in the wrong place at the wrong time? Prayers going out to the victims, their families and others affected by this senseless incident. In the most recent Monterey incident, the shooter went on a rampage because his wife was invited to the party but he wasn't (at least that is what recent updated reports are saying). CA has some of the most stringent gun laws in the country. Did CA's bans and magazine restrictions prevent this? No, but the media and liberal politicians were quick to jump to inaccurate aspersions regarding this incident that fit their agenda and narrative. Anti-2A's and liberals have finally realized the restrictive and un-Constitutional gun laws they have passed are not working. Subsequently, they will now stop at nothing other than complete bans, confiscation and disarming of law abiding American citizens. Tragic and senseless incidents like this will fuel this objective.
I recently learned that not all Filipinos identify as purely "Asian". Some of them identify as partly "Hispanic" as well...and "Pacific Islanders".
So "Filipino" may show up as a new ethnic group on a gun application form near you

Don't count on it. There's a MSM article that I won't link to explaining how California's strict gun laws may not have prevented this mass shooting, but they have helped stop others..... which as we all know is complete and utter bullcrap. It doesn't matter what the facts are... they will spin it any way they want to suit their narrative.

Interesting. If true there could be some racism or ethnicity hate there. China and Vietnam were bitter enemies for centuries. After the Vietnam War ended with the USA, China got into a prolonged war with Vietnam.

We don't know what could've gotten into a 72 year-old Asian man's head to go into a building full of young partiers and shoot the place up. If he's the same man who was disarmed a short time later at another location then he obviously had a problem in general and not just with the place he shot up. Until the police find his computer and phone and search them for clues as to why he did it we're just speculating here.
