I have a S/A 1911A1 loaded .45 and it came with the stock Novak rear sight.(non adj). Will the Smith pistol sight fit in the same manner as the Novak? or does the slide have to be cut? The smith has the adjustment for the elevation and windage and that is what I am looking for. Any other sights that you know of that are adj. for el/win that are also good replacements? As it is now the gun shoots to low and to the left.

Ricky T, No. No others to try to shoot the gun. I have a Ruger P97 and it's right on the money, and it is stock out of the box.What is MMC's website? I appreciate you giving me that information.

I will try all the suggestions as soon as the snow goes away. 8" in West Virginia on Saturday and a little hard trying to find the brass.

right now its 4 degs. outside and dark. I am getting inpatient with the snow and cold. We have had snow on the ground here since thanksgiving with only one week without. Then last saturday bang,8". At least I have other guns to shoot that don't spew out the brass.Anybody else got a Ruger 44mag SBH ?
